Welcome to Peter Cheung's KaiFeng Web site for one of my favorite site in China. This web site presents in detail what is in KaiFeng. This is the only dedicated site about the city of KaiFeng on the world wide web. I like to let the pictures and photos do the talking. This web site is to promote KaiFeng as a tourist site for foreign travelers who is interested in Art and History. I have found very few information about historic, art and cultural sites of China in English. There are very few books or VCD about KaiFeng in English. I hope this web site will give those who are interested in KaiFeng enough information and pictures to satisfy your curiosity.    There are about 200 pictures in this web site and most pictures are taken from VCD and DVD. You can go to my 9 day middle China tour to get some photos I took myself in KaiFeng. There are many extra information for traveling in China with many web links to other sites some in English and some in Chinese.

I had one of my most enjoyable day touring in the city of KaiFeng. We visited only 3 sites out of m then 10 sites described in this web site.  The tourist department of the City of KaiFeng has an excellent tourist guide in color with both English and Chinese descriptions. I would like to create this web site as an appreciation of their hospitability.

The main web pages for information are under "major sites". Most of the pictures are shown as thumbnails and clicking the thumbnail will display the full pictures. Most pictures has the longest side as 640 pixels and are between 20k to 100k in size.
